
The Highfield Level 3 Award in Emergency Care for First Responders (RQF) is designed for people whose role requires them to provide immediate medical care at the scene of an incident, such as security operatives, close protection officers, event medical staff, cabin crew and community first responders. This regulated, classroom based course goes beyond standard first aid, equipping learners with the practical skills and confidence to assess and manage a wide range of pre-hospital emergencies. On completion, learners will be able to respond effectively to incidents including cardiac arrest, catastrophic bleeding, spinal and chest injuries, anaphylaxis and other serious medical conditions, with knowledge and skills aligned to Category D of the Pre Hospital Emergency Medicine framework.
