Security that protects the building without losing sight of the people who live in it
SGC Security Services have provided security and concierge services at Zenith House since 2014. Our team supports a busy residential environment with a high number of residents, visitors, contractors and deliveries.
The service combines front-of-house support with access control, visitor management, CCTV monitoring and patrols. Our officers also respond to incidents, support safeguarding and provide clear reports.
Our long-standing presence at Zenith House gives our team a strong understanding of the building and its residents. It also helps us respond to changing risks and adapt the service when needed.
SGC officers provide a professional front-of-house security presence. They offer reassurance to residents while maintaining effective access controls.
Their duties include access control, visitor sign-in and sign-out, professional challenge procedures and contractor coordination. Officers also provide support with deliveries.
SGC’s approach is firm, fair and respectful. Officers apply security controls consistently while avoiding unnecessary disruption for residents and genuine visitors.
Visible patrols of communal areas provide reassurance and help deter anti-social behaviour and unauthorised access.
SGC adjust patrol times and priority areas in response to incident trends and feedback. As a result, SGC can direct resources towards emerging risks instead of relying only on fixed routines.
Safeguarding forms part of our day-to-day service. Officers maintain professional boundaries and use de-escalation where appropriate. They record concerns accurately and follow clear routes for welfare issues, incidents and escalation.
When incident levels increased, SGC worked closely with the client to review the security arrangements. Together, multiple ways were identified to strengthen protection for residents, visitors, building users and frontline officers.
SGC’s response went beyond security equipment by using combined enhanced protective measures with additional training, supervision and updated operating procedures.
SGC equipped officers with KR1 protective vests and HALOS body-worn cameras with live-stream capability. The equipment provides a visible deterrent and helps officers capture evidence during incidents. It also gives the wider team greater awareness when an incident develops.
This approach supports faster, more informed decisions. It also reassures residents that the officers manage incidents in a professional and proportionate way.
