SGC Security Services Begins Partnership with University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust

SGC Security Services are pleased to announce the start of a new partnership with University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS), one of the UK’s leading teaching hospitals.

The partnership, which commenced on 1st July 2026, brings together the Trust’s longstanding commitment to the safety and wellbeing of patients, visitors and staff with SGC’s experience of working in complex healthcare environments. Under the partnership, SGC are responsible for delivering security services across the Trust’s hospital sites.

SGC will work closely with UHS to maintain high standards of security and safeguarding, helping to support the smooth operation of hospital services and a positive experience across the Trust.

Simon Anderson, Commercial Director at SGC Security Services, said:

A strong emphasis will be placed on partnership working, with SGC and Trust teams collaborating closely to ensure services remain aligned to the evolving needs of a busy NHS hospital environment.
