Over seven years of collaborative security partnership and protective security leadership
SGC Security Services has worked in partnership with Kettering General Hospital (KGH) for over seven years, delivering a professional, fully managed security service within one of the most challenging and dynamic operating environments in the public sector.
Since mobilisation in April 2019, SGC has developed a strong and collaborative relationship with KGH, working closely with Trust stakeholders to provide a security solution that supports clinical priorities while protecting patients, visitors, staff, assets and the wider hospital environment.
Our partnership approach is built on trust, transparency and continuous improvement. By integrating closely with hospital teams, SGC provides more than a traditional security service; we act as a trusted partner supporting operational resilience, patient safety and the evolving security requirements of the NHS.
A key example of this approach was SGC’s organisation and delivery of a Martyn’s Law Readiness Webinar on the 14th May 2026, bringing together over 320 healthcare and security professionals to improve awareness, preparedness and collaboration around protective security legislation.
Kettering General Hospital is a busy acute NHS Trust operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing essential healthcare services to the local community.
The security service operates within a complex environment requiring a highly professional, compassionate and responsive approach, including:
