As part of our #socialvalue offering the SMT at SGC Security Services are engaging in activities to better the communities we live in and support.

Paul Macarthur MSyI is helping at his local Martial Arts club in Braintree, www.themartialartscentre.com to train local youngsters and improve their self discipline and confidence. This is a passion of Paul’s and he wants to pass on his experiences to these youngsters and help them improve their lives.

Alan Ives , M.IPSA is now as trustee of Savsim a Charity for conservation, wildlife and veteran mental health support. Alan supports veterans with mental health issues. As an ex Army veteran himself Alan is passionate about supporting ex veterans.

Today Steve McNulty is  attending a Local Combined Cadet Force (CCF) unit at Birkenhead High School Academy part of the GDST (The Girls’​ Day School Trust), where his daughter goes to school and who is part of this Unit, to see about becoming a volunteer.

Steve said its funny I do my video blogs, present to companies, help run major events and manage hundreds of staff but going to a girls school and having to talk in front of 70 or so teenage girls scares the life out of me.

So Steve’s boots are polished, hair cut and clothes pressed.
