SGC Security Services are committed to delivering exceptional security solutions to our clients. We are now seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee the operational delivery and integrity of security services across a portfolio of high‑profile contracts.
This is a senior leadership role suited to a driven professional with strong operational capability, excellent client‑facing skills, and a deep understanding of physical and electronic security delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in security management and operational delivery within the commercial security sector
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of contracts within manned guarding, as stated in the original document: “Proven experience managing a portfolio of contracts within the manned guarding sector.”
- Strong background in physical and electronic security operations
- Experience delivering both permanent and temporary security deployments
- Valid frontline DS or CP licence
- Qualification in NEBOSH or IOSH
- Recognised security management qualification (physical security, risk management, or equivalent)
- Extensive experience within the security industry
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams across multiple sites
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include full operational and strategic oversight of security delivery across multiple sites:
- Managing the security and integrity of high‑profile sites
- Leading the operational delivery of planned and reactive security operations, ensuring compliance, resilience, and continuity
- Overseeing both physical and electronic security measures, including permanent and temporary security activations
- Managing a dedicated supervisory team responsible for 24‑hour operational coverage
- Conducting regular site visits, welfare checks, and performance reviews for all deployed staff
- Delivering staff training, HR support, welfare management, and ongoing professional development
- Leading client integration, KPI reviews, and contract compliance meetings
- Developing and maintaining assignment instructions, operational procedures, and site‑specific security resourcing plans
- Managing the mobilisation of new sites and operational transitions
- Key holding and mobile patrols, locks and unlocks
- Producing high‑quality operational and performance reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships to maximise client satisfaction, as stated in the original document: “Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to maximise client satisfaction.”
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and development of regional security teams
