Duties / Responsibilities
- Part-time, seasonal role; events often take place evenings and weekends
- Flexible travel to venues across the UK
- Deliver high-visibility security and excellent customer service at events
- Conduct pre- and post-event safety checks to ensure venue compliance
- Greet, assist, and direct event attendees
- Prevent prohibited or restricted items entering secure zones
- Monitor crowd behaviour and respond to incidents promptly
- Report and manage emergencies efficiently
- Ticket checking and asset protection
- Supervise and support your security team
- Carry out entry point security searches
Skills and Experience
- Minimum age: 18+
- Valid Door Supervisor (DS) licence required
- Previous event security or similar supervisory experience advantageous
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexible availability, especially weekends and evenings
- Professional, reliable, and able to exercise sound judgement
- Capable of interacting with VIPs and senior management
- Checkable work and personal history
- Knowledge of the events industry
- Level 3 Spectator Safety qualification (or willingness to complete, training provided)
- First Aid Certificate; ACT, Ask Angela, and Drink Spiking certifications (links provided if needed)
