SGC Security Services is currently hiring an SIA Licensed Security Officer to join our dedicated security team within the NHS in Cheshire.
Key Requirements:
– Valid SIA License
– Experience working within the NHS is preferred
– Polite, articulate, friendly, and assertive demeanour for effective interaction with visitors and staff
Role Overview:
As an SIA Licensed Security Officer, you will:
– Strive to enhance safety, security, and service for our team, clients, the public, and property.
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both internal and external, ensuring all areas are secure as per site instructions and patrol management systems.
– Manage the entry and exit of staff and visitors.
– Inspect designated rooms and areas for fire hazards.
– Perform checks and searches of individuals or vehicles as needed.
– Monitor CCTV feeds.
– Maintain accurate logs and records for the site.
– Implement fire regulations, emergency procedures, and equipment checks as necessary.
– Address inquiries from clients, representatives, or visitors.
– Report incidents such as break-ins, vandalism, or theft to the team manager and relevant authorities.
– Adhere strictly to company policies, health and safety regulations, and maintain a professional appearance in uniform.
– Collaborate with the SGC Security portfolio manager.
– Stay updated through ongoing training.
We are looking for candidates with skills in:
– Security, Security Guarding, SIA Licensing, Patrol Operations, CCTV Monitoring, Door Supervision, Fire Safety, Customer Service, Risk Assessment, and more.

Essential Skills:
