This job posting is seeking a Workplace Planner to oversee a busy 24/7 communications centre in Sible Hedingham for SGC Security Services.
The successful candidate will join an established team of planners and be responsible for performing control room daily operations, managing the main switchboard, creating schedules for officers’ shift rotations, communicating with relevant department heads, monitoring lone worker systems, keeping accurate records of communication, recording incidents involving staff, liaising with mobile drivers, monitoring and responding to operations emails, responding to portal-based camera alarm activation systems, covering blown and reactive works, processing holidays, scheduling cover guards, incident report writing, and monitoring vehicle tracking systems.
This full-time, permanent position offers a salary of £30,000.00 per year and benefits such as free parking, pension, private healthcare, weekly lunch club.
The successful candidate must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work at our head office in Sible Hedingham Essex.
Workplace planners will work on a rota basis equally sharing the responsibility between colleagues, with shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
The rota will be planned in advance, and the shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, with early shifts from 6am to 6pm and late shifts from 10am to 9pm (paid until 10pm).
