Case Study

SGC Security Services delivered exceptional security services for two of the UK’s most high-profile government security contracts. The UK hosted the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October – 13 November 2021. Similarly, the G7 Summit was held in Carbis Bay, Cornwall on 11-13 June 2021.

Both events required world-class security provision to protect international leaders and ensure incident-free operations. Consequently, SGC was selected to deliver comprehensive security guarding and close protection services for these prestigious events.

The Challenge

These government contracts presented unique challenges. We needed to deploy highly trained officers capable of operating on the world stage. Furthermore, the scale and complexity of both events required meticulous planning and coordination. Additionally, we had to maintain the highest security standards whilst managing the logistical demands of large-scale international events.
